As a child I clamoured over my Dad's building blueprints and accompanied him on visits to construction sites. Growing up I decorating the many family homes my dad built and debated over an interior design career or becoming an architect. As it turned out I became a Digital Designer and Creative Director in the Advertising industry - leading teams and working with clients to achieve award winning campaigns.
These days I still lead teams and work with clients to achieve brilliance, just in a different way. Since buying and renovating a home I’ve been following my passion for home design. I’ve spent the last 10 years wielding drills, building walls, raising the roofs and honing my enthusiasm for designing inspiring spaces. I've earned the trust of architects and home owners, and respect from the trades. I take great pride being able to contribute my design sense and renovation skills to build toward a beautiful finish.

I've always been a maker. My first career as a prop builder in the theatre and film industry gave me such great opportunities to build some amazing things. Having preferred carpentry and woodworking I built furniture and set pieces that could withstand the rigours of the entertainment industry.
My interest in home renovations began when I purchased my first home and the frustrations I faced dealing with the trades. Firstly as a woman and then as client. I decided to take on the remaining projects myself and as it turns out I had the skills for it. That was more than 20 years ago. Throughout I have continued to hone my abilities in home renovations and added project management to my skill set.
Five years ago I began a custom furniture design and build studio, taking on custom commissions and handcrafting them in my shop in Toronto. I still continue to do so.
My desire to learn and create has allowed me to give my clients quality workmanship, interesting design and an attention to the detail that reflects in our craftsmanship and commitment to your renovation.
